Join us on Sunday, August 28th as we team up with Bellevue Youth Theatre to host a special Love Your Neighbor Sunday “Back to School Neighborhood Block Party” for the greater Crossroads community and the families/children who are part of community programs run by the Bellevue Youth Theatre and Crossroads Community Center.
This neighborhood party will be hosted at our Sunday gathering location, Bellevue Youth Theatre, and will be a great opportunity to open our physical doors and arms to the greater Crossroads community and to bless our neighbors in real time with free food, live music, bouncy houses, and free backpacks and school supply giveaways.
Here are the deets:
When? Sunday, August 28th 2022
Time? Assemble backpacks & school supplies (10am - 11am) + party with neighborhood, families and kids (11:30am - 1:30pm)
Where? Bellevue Youth Theatre
What? A back to school neighborhood block party to bless the neighborhood with free food, live music, bouncy houses, and backpack and school supply giveaways!
How can I serve/volunteer?
Join the coordinating team to help with day-of setup and logistics
Join the shopping team to help source/purchase backpacks and school supplies in advance (the church will be funding the entire event, so you won’t be spending your own money)
Come to BYT from 10am - 11am to help assemble backpacks and organize school supplies in lobby/main auditorium
Come to BYT from 11am - 1:30am to eat, party and mingle with our neighbors!
