Know Your Rights Workshop with SwAA
🗓️ Tuesday, April 21st
🕒 6pm - 8pm
📍 15318 SE Newport Way, Bellevue
Common Good, in partnership with Stand with Asian Americans (SwAA), invites the Greater Eastside community to a practical, real-world conversation on staying safe, prepared, and informed in today’s environment.
This event is FREE to the community and open to all regardless of citizenship status or background.
This session is designed for everyday situations people are increasingly facing or worried about such as:
What do you do if you’re approached or questioned by immigration enforcement?
What are your rights at home, at work, or in public?
How can you support someone else safely if you witness an incident?
Through expert guidance and real scenarios, we’ll walk through:
How to respond in the moment if you or someone near you is affected
What rights and protections you should know—regardless of status
Simple tools and steps to help you feel more prepared, not panicked
This is not about politics. It’s about equipping people with clear, practical knowledge about their constitutional rights so they can move through everyday life with more confidence, awareness, and care for one another.
Our goal is simple: to help every member of our community feel informed, prepared, and supported—so no one has to navigate these moments alone.
Event Schedule:
6:00pm - 6:30pm // Welcome reception with food & drink
6:30pm - 8pm // Presentation and Q&A
Food & childcare will be provided.
Register by Friday, April 17th.
