SNAP RESPONSE

FOOD RESOURCES & WAYS TO GIVE

During this government shutdown, many individuals and families who rely on federally funded benefits are being directly affected. In response, local organizations and businesses are stepping up to provide free meals, groceries, and resources for anyone in need.

As a Jesus-centered community, we believe the church exists for the Common Good — for the flourishing of all people. That means showing up for our neighbors in both prayer and action, especially in times of hardship.

You can show your support by donating, volunteering, or sharing these resources with those who need them. Explore the opportunities below and join us in showing up for our community during this time of need.

Ways to Support

Common Good Church Food Drive

Join us in caring for our neighbors through our Common Good Church Food Drive! Each Sunday, you can bring non-perishable food items to church, and we’ll deliver them to local food banks serving the Bellevue community. It’s a simple and meaningful way to make sure everyone has access to the food they need.

Meal Delivery Volunteer Opportunity

As mentioned above, 4 Tomorrow & Pasifika Grill & Bar are working together to provide free hot meals to the families of 4 Tomorrow programs every Tuesday and Thursday from 2pm-5pm at Pasifika Grill. Because some individuals are not able to physically get to Pasikia to pick up a meal for themselves or their families, Common Good is partnering with 4 Tomorrow & Pasifika to help deliver meals directly to homes. If you are interested in delivering meals to 4 Tomorrow families in the Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland area on any Tuesday or Thursday, please arrive to Pasifika at 5pm to help deliver meals (quantity and locations delivered to are at your own discretion based on your bandwidth/availability). Contact jason@commongood.church if you'd like to learn more.
